What MarshalCloud does with it
- Your Datadog monitors and their current state, shown next to MarshalCloud's own uptime checks so one page answers 'is anything broken'.
- With the connector on: Datadog alert events from the last 14 days, and open security signals, which become findings MarshalCloud can investigate alongside its own.
- It stores a short summary only: monitor name, state and type, and when it last triggered.
What it never does
- It never creates, mutes, resolves or changes anything in Datadog. Every call is a read.
- Your API and application keys are encrypted and never shown back by any interface or API.
- If Datadog cannot be reached the view says unavailable and records the type of error. It never turns a failed read into a green result.
Read-only is the default everywhere. A fix is drafted, priced and explained, and then waits for a person to approve it. The whole access path is on Security and access.
